Andrew Karre: I Read Asian and Pacific Islander American Books

Today, Andrew Karre gives us a glimpse into Malinda Lo’s forthcoming book, Last Night at the Telegraph Club. As  an editor at Dutton, (a division of Penguin Young Readers Group) Karre has come to know this book almost as well as she does. He brings an emotion into this reading and we have to wonder, what is it about this selection? What particularly in this selection is being revealed to us through Lo’s descriptive writing that appeals to Karre? For what are we being prepared?
