YA Authors

After looking at the history of Blacks in YA literature in the US, the next thing to do is to consider who are the Blacks authors of young adult literature today. Well, here they are are most of them. These authors are Afro American, Afro Caribbean, Afro British, mixed raced, LGBTQIAP+, have disabilities, are debut authors, seasoned, awarded, graphic novelists, adult/television/journalism crossovers and 3 even live in Indiana! But, all have had works published in the US. We are a diverse and complex people with so many stories to tell!
