Rodney (Black; my son) and Keith (White; my other son) have been friends since college. They have more in common than that’s different and they know that because they’ve taken the time to get to know each other. They believe we can all discover that we have more in common if we’re simply brave enough to start a conversation. So, here’s what they’ve done.
“We have decided to record our conversations and share them with the world. The goal is to represent civility in contentious times. We talk to each other occasionally and bring on guests often. We aim to converse not interview.
The goal is to expose people’s stories, thoughts, and the reasons for them. We want to evaluate how we see each other. Ultimately evolving how we think of the people around us and demonstrating that we have More In Common than that which divides us, even if rooted in differing points of view.”
