The Family Violence Prevention Fund’s new “School of Respect” campaign is holding a competitive search for outstanding high school English literature teachers to help develop and pilot Lessons from Literature, an innovative curriculum aimed at preventing various forms of interpersonal violence such as bullying, harassment, dating abuse, and sexual assault among teens. Selected teachers will kick off the project with an all-expenses-paid, two-day workshop in San Francisco this summer. The application deadline is June 15, 2007.
