Anew tool you might try with your YAs: Simon and Schuster’s BookVideoTV doesn’t have many (ok, it has two) YA authors, but it does have a few adult authors that appeal to YAs.  Terri Woods, Zane and a few others  give th back story to a book or two.

If you haven’t seen it yet, author Mitali Perkin’s (First Daughter) Sparrowblog offers a refreshing and insightful perspective on the ’08 elections.  Written in the voice of her fictional book’s main character, his could really get YAs excited about the elections as we get dish about the candidates and their children.
