The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) has proclained 20 October as the National Day on Writing. There’s a ning, facebook page, local events and online sites to collect writings. A National Gallery has been created and is subdivided to collect writings on a variety of interestests.  There is a particular “A Lifetime of Reading”  which is collecting writings by individuals throughout the kidlitosphere about their experience with reading.  The writings will be viewable on 20 October.

You know I’m hoping for a very diverse set of contibutions!  I haven’t seen much about this on blogs yet, so let’s get the word out… and start writing!
