Tweeting an Interpretation of War

I wish more of you would Twitter! I keep up with Jo Ann and Susan/ColorOnline over there. I know Zetta would do some mad crazy networking! And I know others who read this follow me there, but are soooooooooooo quiet! Blogs are great, I like what I do here. But I really enjoy the quick burst of information Twitter allows me to give and receive. Well, I kinda like it. The HOURS I spend there!! This video is an example of a recent find on Twitter. It fits my current WWII trend. A visual and musical artist pair up on Ukrane’s Got Talent to present this amazing interpretation of WWII from a Ukranian perspective. It can be kind of hard for us as Americans, removed in time and space, from Europeans who faced the devastation brought on by this war: the hunger, fear, loss, hatred, denial and atrocities that were witnessed. Each country suffered in different ways because of political, racial and religious affiliations. This performance is an amazing, heartfelt interpretation.

This is what I’ve found on Twitter this week. What have you found? Please share so we can motivate a few more people to Tweet!

  1. Edi,

Like you I get great info from Twitter. I know many are turned off to the “what i had for breakfast” tweets, but my eyes scan right past those. I look at links. Easy way to direct my attention to topics I want to read.

I can’t think at the moment what I discovered lately.

Thanks for encouraging others to tweet.
