Bookstore find

I went to a bookstore today and thought I found Sherri Smith’s Flygirl. Instead, it was Influence les ombres du ciel.

Could someone tell me how these covers could be so similar??

  1. wow…I think that happens when two different designers buy the same stock photo…are you homesick yet? I had lunch with a friend; her little sister’s in Paris and has been “brown-bagged” more than once–excluded from a club for being too dark…!

    I’m wondering exacting how u would tell a potential cliente that they are too dark to be served?? She definitely needs to blog or Twitter the names of the establishment.s

  4. apparently the white girls were allowed into the club with no problem, and when the darker-skinned black girls stepped up, they were required to produce passports and other ID…which they hadn’t thought to bring, of course, and so had to go home…
