2. Cinco de Mayo is not “an obligatory federal holiday” in Mexico, but rather a holiday that can be observed voluntarily.

Edi, I learn something every time I come here. I finally finished Down To The Bone by Mayra Lazara Dole. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it. If you’ve read it, what did you think? It will work in our library but would you have it in yours?
I have LaBloga in my blog roll will look at the others.
Thanks,
S
Great countdown. Loved Dirty Girl’s social club. The authors YA novel Haters was pretty good. I will look up the other books. And I loved the You Tube clip.
great suggestions!
link in my sidebar. And guess what? Mayra Lazara Dole commented on my blog today.
That’s so cool Susan. I loved Down to the Bone
Another friend just RAVED about Sammy & Juliana, so I’ll be starting there…but yet another great list! Thanks, Edi…
Definitely adding a couple of these to my reading list! Thanks for the rundown.
Susan,
I’m not at all familiar with Down to the Bone. I did Google it and I see it’s getting great reviews, so I’ll have to check that out! You mentioned Mayra Lazara Dole and she showed up on your blog. Let me just say “Denzel”
