When you can’t speak the language and don’t have transportation other than your feet, you end up with a lot of free time on your hands.  For me, that translates into a lot of time to surf the web.  so in one of my random surfs trying to locate YA authors in YouTube, I found authors@Google.  I visited the site and went to the Young Adult page.  You should visit it.  You should count the number of authors of color that are there and then maybe you can elighten me as to why the numbers are so few.
