The 2007 Institute will focus on creating awareness of information resources related to the health issues of Hispanics and Latinos, showcasing best practices in libraries and information centers, and providing librarians, health information specialists and healthcare providers with the knowledge to improve services and health care.
The 2007 Institute presents a diverse array of regional and national experts in various aspects of health information services for Hispanics and Latinos. Plenary sessions include lectures, panel discussions and best practices. Breakout sessions offer participants the opportunity for more in-depth looks at specific topics of interest. Conference registration includes all meals, and University housing is available for out-of-town registrants.
