The end of June brings the Harlem Book Fair – Roxbury to Boston for the third year. Lloyd H. King of Roxbury Action Program, one of the first CDC’s in Boston and Tony Rose of Amber Publications Group Inc. are sponsoring the Harlem Book Fair- Roxbury from 12 – 6 June 30th on the Campus of Roxbury Community College.

Meet Boston’s own authors as well as many others; Discuss Hip Hop, Literacy and Culture. Find out how to get your book published, Discover new writers with:

Authors: John Cothan, Carl Morton, Maria McNaught and Haywood Fennel who both have new books out this year. Maria McNaught ‘s “The Trip Back to Freedom” and Haywood Fennel’s “Coota and the Challenge” based on the shared experiences of African Americans and the Irish in Boston, Dana Ross author of “Black Fatherhood, Reconnecting with Our Legacy”, will also conduct a workshop – Creating with the Fatherhood Legacy, putting a positive spin on African American fatherhood. Charisse Carney Nunes’ “Nappy” and “Songs of a Sistermom.” Brian Coleman author of “Rakim Told Me” will be one of the hip-hop panelists.
