The Hurston/Wright Creative Writing Intensive for High School Students offers tuition-free, three-week long workshops that will enable high school students to become effective communicators. These workshops are only available to students residing in Prince George’s County Maryland or Washington, D.C. Dates are July 8-27. This year, there will be five tuition free workshops and each will last three weeks. This program is intended for highs school students who wish to improve their writing skills for enjoyment or career purposes. The application deadline is 18 May.
