Webcast of Summit on Media Violence – Tomorrow, April 17th

National League of Cities (NLC) President Bart Peterson, Mayor of Indianapolis, will be hosting the NLC Summit on Media Violence and its Impact on Children through a live webcast on Tuesday, April 17. Hear about the current status of violence in the media, the academic research on the impact of media violence on children and youth, industry efforts to respond to media violence, public policy responses, and possible strategies for raising public awareness and engaging parents.

The live webcast will begin at 8:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, April 17, and will continue with panels and speakers until 3:00 p.m.   If you plan to view the Summit, please go to the web site prior to the start time to test your media player capabilities.
