I had to mediate what was about to boil into a fight today in my media center. Two young ladies, who seemed to think they were ‘friends’, were about to go at it over gossip one was spreading about the other. We were in the dean’s office and one of the girls just wanted to straighten out what was being said about her, but she was willing to fight if necessary.

Me, the l’il ol’ library lady just wanted to run to get a copy of The Fight and get her to read it so she could see what she was doing and get her to look for a way out of fighting!!
